Fack ju Göthe
If I had seen "Türkisch für Anfänger" before this movie I might never had watched it. I would have missed one of the funniest movies of this year - actually the only that made me laugh out loud in the theater.
Main character Zeki Müller is probably the most likable bad boy of the year and while the whole setting "robber has to work as teacher to reach his hidden money" isn't new - the typically german school situation makes this the hit of the year.
Also trust me "nontypical teaching methods" does not even begin to cover it, be it shooting the kids with a paintball gun or telling a crying girl to "weep silently" - what looks like a hard hand at the beginning turns in a great, understanding and positive teacher by the end of it. And he does a wonderful job to even give the biggest outcasts a chance in life.

Malavita - The Family
Robert De Niro, Michelle Pfeiffer and Dianna Agron in one movie? Yes and it works great, also thanks to John D'Leo which rounds down family Blake with his character Warren.
But the actors are not the only reason to watch this 'action comedy', the characters are originals - each and every one of them. Be it princess Belle (not so much one when you treat her badly), Junior Mafiosi and super spy Warren (or so he thinks), Maggie the resolute housewife (don't handle explosives when she is nearby) or the head of the family, Fred Blake aka Giovanni Manzoni. A special thumbs up to a super stressed Agent Robert Stansfield, portrait by no other then Tommy Lee Jones himself who is literally done with everything for a whole 111 minutes.
Great characters, a intelligent story(base), lots of breathtaking action and a really amazing humor makes this another joy to watch.
